Bergische Universität Wuppertal

The Appleid Mathematics and Numerical Analysis (AMNA) group at the University of Wuppertal is part of the Institute for Modelling, Analysis and Computational Mathematics (IMACM) that was founded in January 2011.

The group has established COMPASS (computer laboratory for parallel algorithms and stochastic simulations). This lab runs and also develops state-of-the-art parallel computers since 1990. The latest developments include the cluster ALiCEnext, GPU clusters and the QPACE supercomputer.
